Ban on Electric Shock collars

The Welsh Assembly have taken a bold step in animal welfare by banning the use of electric shock collars on cats and dogs.  There are now calls for the rest of the UK to follow suit.  Both the Kennel Club and the RSPCA were delighted with the outcome and all animal welfare groups are very pleased with ruling.  There are believed to be over 500,000 shock collars in the UK and not surprisingly the...

Has your council tax bill gone up?

What a silly question Of course it has Could i just point out to those people who are vocal about wanting more dog bins or want them emptied more often that if you get your wish your Counil Tax will go up even more and once it goes up, it won’t be coming down . Why not find a cheaper alternative, one where you don’t have to carry plastic bags of dog poo in your hand until you get to...

crufts – 4th and final day

I write tonight with sore feet, aching legs and a brain that’s turned to mush. Sunday at crufts was even busier than saturday and the public were on a mission to spend money.  Barry and I spent many hours demonstrating the Dicky Bag to inquisitive visitors which resulted in numerous sales and some very silly comments.  It turns out that men seem  to think it’s ok to use bags of dog...

‘Crufts – Day 2

Magazine day Today. We were lucky enough to meet the lovely Hannah, assistant editor of Dogs Monthly magazine who has recently done her own product testing of the Dicky Bag.  She loves the bag, from it’s carefully thought our design through to the choice of colours and patterns and is a complete convert.  Her write up should be appearing in the May edition where she gives it a double thumbs up. ...
