Christmas can be dangerous for Dogs!

Ah... here we are - Christmas week!  Everywhere I look you humans seem to be scurrying to and fro making the final preparations for the festivities to come this weekend - holly hangs everywhere, the houses are all looking very jolly with their inflatable Santas and brightly lit ornaments and you all look very excited.  Very sweet.

However, at the risk of sounding like a complete party pooper (do you see what I did there? Dickybags... poop... oh forget it!) I would like to draw your attention to this article on the Dog News blog.

You see - Christmas can be a rather hazardous time for dogs.  Not only are we force fed all manner of left overs from Christmas dinner but some of you even give us chocolate (not good for us at all!) and those Christmas crackers!  Well... let's just say there was a rather unfortunate incident last year where I was so startled by a cracker banging that I fell off the sofa in the middle of the Queen's speech!

But that's not all!  According to the article, the following are the Top 5 Christmas Hazards for Dogs!  Please familiarise yourself with them and ensure that they don't cause any problems in your home this Christmas...

1) Chocolate
2) Antifreeze on the ground
3) Pine needles
4) Glass decorations
5) Crowded kitchens

Do read the article, it's really very good and you may just save your dog a few mishaps!

Smell you later

Testimonials

Just come back from a somewhat windy and sometimes wet holiday in Devon. I asked for the dicky bag to be delivered to the rental property we were staying in. They were there ready and waiting (I purchased two, one for a friend).

We used them the whole time, they were fabulously useful particularly when taking a long beach walk. Several other dog owners asked where we had got them and so a positive response and all info was given!

Well done to all at DB, great, great product. On top of which, it is so light when clipped to your belt loop you don't even know you are carrying anything - let alone poo!
